Jive belongs to the serious gaming genre. Two to four players sitting around the iPad take a stand on a series of statements. An effective discussion starter that creates lively debate - useful, instructive and entertaining.

Jive creates dialogue and discussion in a group or between individuals. The purpose of the game is to encourage players to speak their minds about words, events or propositions. In an entertaining way, you get people to interact, react and discuss their opinions about anything from apple strudle to important topics.

Using a simple interface, players use a color-coded emoticon that can be moved sideways to indicate their opinion on the screen every time a sentence is shown. The tempo is fast forcing players to respond with spontaneous reactions. The sentences that appear on screen are either ready-made categories, or categories that you can create yourself to use with your own events.

At the end of the game the results are presented to clearly show where the group agrees and doesn’t.

This flexible game has many uses - workshops, group discussions, school classrooms, team building activities - any situation where a topic is to be discussed and it is difficult to get everyone talking.
